I'm currently using HSBC for online savings, which I like a lot. It has a great interface, free ACH transfers, etc, but the interest rate is lagging a bit. It's 5.05%, and the leaders in the online savings/MMA market seem to be above 5.30% at this point.

Not a huge jump, but I figure a quarter of a percent may be worth looking into a new account. Can anyone recommend a good high-return online bank? :103631605

CK,

That's a pretty good rate you've got already, not sure it would be worth the trouble looking for another half pt or so.

Best of luck.

One of my favorites financial sites on the internet is bankrate.com .........excellent choice.

This week I will probably open up a savings account with Countrywide.
